Impulses

As humans, we have been gifted with being able to feel various emotions. Sometimes we can experience extreme happiness and joy, other times extreme sadness or anger. However, there can often be a mix between multiple emotions, or 'conflicted feelings', and that can lead to impulsive thoughts, decisions or actions. It is very rare to have the exact same mix of feelings over again, so there are seemingly an infinite number of combinations.

With this concept in mind, I created this piece that keeps changing and creating new visual combinations between two illustrations with opposing intentions. They dance together, often creating something beautiful, and just as often creating something slightly disturbing, but never the same. I made this at a time where not all of my emotions were intact, and immortalized that state of mind with this constantly changing artwork.
