TouchDesigner has an endless amount of possibilities for what we can create. In this case, through a process called instancing, I was able to replace one solid object such as a cube, with every pixel of a video in a 3D space, and then mapped all the colors of those pixels onto each individual box. Furthermore, I was able to make each pixel's height in 3D space correlate with the value of its color, as well as the sound of music as an influence. Finally, I brought the assets that I produced in TouchDesigner into After Effects, which allowed me to create this dreamlike experience - largely credited to this beautiful soundtrack by Yusuke Honma.
