VINDECK: DESIGNING A CONTEXT-AWARE AI WORKFLOW SYSTEM
A voice-enabled AI command deck for managing campaign research, tracker state, active context, and daily execution — designed as both a personal operating system and a case study in stateful AI interface design.
VinDeck is a context-aware AI workflow system I designed and built to manage my creative technology job campaign. It brings together a live tracker, campaign checklist, active company/job context, voice interaction, and a conversational assistant into one focused command deck. At the center of the system is Vincenzo Chianti, a persistent assistant persona designed to act less like a generic chatbot and more like a contextual consigliere for daily campaign work.
Rather than treating AI as a separate chat window, VinDeck turns it into part of a working interface: records can be loaded into context, tasks can be tracked, outreach can be planned, and the assistant can reason from the current campaign state. The project explores how interface design, workflow systems, and AI can work together to reduce context fragmentation and support real daily execution.

THE PROBLEM: Context Fragmentation
My job search was not just a list of applications. It involved companies, people, outreach, research notes, daily priorities, portfolio updates, follow-ups, and conversations with AI. The problem was that all of this context lived in separate places: spreadsheets, notes, browser tabs, LinkedIn, reminders, and chat windows.
Campaign records, assistant context, voice, checklist, and next actions, all become part of one working interface.
DESIGN GOALS:
VinDeck was designed around five core goals that guide how the system works, how information flows, and how I interact with it every day.

CURRENT STATE & NEXT STEPS:
VinDeck is currently a working local prototype used to manage my creative technology job campaign. It connects tracker records, active company/job context, VinChat, voice interaction, memory, and daily execution tools into one focused workspace.
The current version proves the core system idea: scattered campaign information becomes more useful when it can be organized, loaded into context, discussed with an assistant, and turned into next actions.
Next steps include refining the tracker-first workflow, improving visual hierarchy, simplifying campaign views, strengthening the active context layer, and making the system more conversational while keeping approval and user control at the center.
VinDeck began as a personal campaign tool, but it became a broader exploration of how AI interfaces can hold context, support execution, and make complex workflows feel more human.
