Impulses

We can feel extreme joy, sadness or anger, but often there is a mix of emotions, 'conflicted feelings', and that can lead to impulsive thoughts, decisions or actions. It is rare to feel the exact same mix twice, so the combinations are seemingly endless.

With that in mind, I made a piece that keeps creating new visual combinations between two illustrations with opposing intentions. They dance together, often creating something beautiful, and just as often something slightly disturbing, but never the same. I made it at a time when not all of my emotions were intact, and it holds that state of mind.
